Event Overview

The last couple of months are unprecedentedly challenging but also equally reassuring. Because the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted the planet, organizations quickly turned to digital technologies to make sure business continuity and serve their customers.

Almost overnight, employees were enabled with work-from-home options. Massive shifts in IT access and usage led to an unprecedented strain on the existing IT security policies and practices. The time-tested security architectures, principles, and rules crumbled and new rules had to be written and implemented on the fly. Further, boundaries between cyber threats and insider threats suddenly appeared to merge and melt away, thus making it nearly impossible to separate one threat from the other.

CISOs and their teams, alarmed at the gravity of the challenge, quickly responded with definitive actions. They lost no time in introducing policies like zero-trust and deploying the tools needed for tackling issues at hand.

That’s easier said than done! Today’s near-seamless business continuity has been possible only with through relentless hard work and sleepless nights put in by CISOs and their teams.

For the last ten years, it has been BitStream Mediaworks’ endeavor to hold an annual awards ceremony (InfoSec Maestros Awards) where the leading CISOs are felicitated by well-known industry luminaries. This year, come May, and we will be holding the award function on a very interactive virtual platform.

As always, the awards will be preceded by a multitude of knowledge-packed sessions (InfoSec Maestros Conference) to trigger thought-leading innovations to bring India's 1000+ CISOs, CDOs, CTOs, CROs, CIOs, IT Heads, InfoSec leaders and managers from private, public and govt organizations and global security experts under one roof to discuss various information security threats and best-possible effective intelligent solutions available.
